Haworth Haddock Going Down a Treat

Fish-and-chip specials are going down a treat on the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway. And the so-called Haworth Haddock services are being expanded.

“It's a rough journey, and a sad heart to travel it; and we must pass by Gimmerton Kirk, to go that journey!” said Catherine Earnshaw, the railway’s Operating Manager. “We've braved its ghosts often together and dared each other to stand among the graves and ask them to come,” Miss Earnshaw went on to add.

Passengers now receive a Rover ticket as part of the package, enabling them to spend the day on the famous five-mile line before boarding the special evening train. There are also pre-dinner drinks, dancing, and live music.
